Tsunami 274, Mt. Vernon 252 (Dec 15)

Great meet on Saturday against Mt. Vernon!! Final Score: Yonkers Tsunami: 274, Mt. Vernon: 252. I will check for new records this week. Thank you to all parent volunteers!!! Mike McNamara was the winner of the 50/50 and has graciously given it back to the team. Thank you Mike!
Several relay members were missing at the end of the meet on Saturday. I ask that the swimmers do not get dressed until the conclusion of the meet. We can't miss these races!Congratulations to everyone who has been working really hard these past few months.
We're off to a fantastic start as we head into the conclusion of thefirst half of our season. Keep it up!

*Dean Kuldraree, breaking his own record for the third straight time this season, 14/u 100 Free (57.47).
*Ruben Carambia, breaking a record set in 11/2005, 18/u 100 Breast (1:22.37)
*Niamh Butler, breaking a record set in 3/2005, 10/u 50 Backstroke (40.16)
*Michelle Sikora, breaking her own record, 12/u 50 Breast (39.91)
*Girls 12/u 200 Medley Relay (2:21.44) (-2 seconds!):Roxanne Carambia, Aysha Rivas, Karlett Morel, Michelle Sikora
*Girls 18/u 200 Free Relay (1:54.59) (by almost 3 seconds from last meets record!):Jasmine Bennett, Natalia Sikora, Deandra McQueen, Eleanor Daugherty.
*Boys 12/u 200 Medley Relay (2:26.93....old record was 2:33.61 from last meet!!):Pierce Butler, Joshua Gonzalez, Jonathan Cato, Adonis Fortunato
*Boys 18/u 200 Free Relay (1:44.76....-3 seconds off last meets record!)Dean Kuldraree, Ruben Carambia, PJ Hiraldo, Michal Lengowicz.
